Grof® Legacy Presents: Wisdom of Breath
Diane Haug / Patty Nagle / Kirsten Kairos
July 19–25, 2026
(6 nights / 7 days)

The Grof® Legacy Project is very pleased to offer an extended in-depth residential retreat at the Ocamora Retreat Center. At Ocamora we are gifted with a safe, private, and soulful space in a beautiful land-based setting––a setting that inherently supports quieting the mind, resting the body and allowing greater access to our own intrinsic healing intelligence. The week is designed for deep inner exploration, rest, reflection, and restoration. Included in the week will be four Grof® Breathwork sessions––two as a breather and two as a sitter. Integration of this deep inner exploration will be supported by council practice, art making, journal writing, movement, bodywork, guided time in nature and ritual. In addition to the healing and renewal inherent in the work, cultivating the precious ‘creative spirit’ in each of us can act as a powerful antidote to the despair and disenchantment that so easily impacts our lives in these complex and challenging times. Pilgrimage is time-honored. Transformational work takes time. The group size will be limited to 18 participants. Early registration is highly recommended.

Diane Haug is a licensed therapist and Director of both the Grof Legacy Project and Ocamora Retreat Center. For the last 40 years her public life has been focused on the healing potential of expanded states of consciousness as informed by her mentor, colleague and friend, Stanislav Grof. Her private life has been sourced by a lifelong connection with the natural world. Diane is currently an instructor with the CIIS Center for Psychedelic-Assisted Therapies and Research (San Francisco, CA) and adjunct faculty with Southwestern College (Santa Fe, New Mexico).

Kirsten Kairos (KK), is the founder of LightHorse Equine & Wellness, a 501c3, a Creative Life Guide, Equine Gestaltist™, Grof® Certified Breathwork Facilitator, and Expanded States Facilitator. Her love of sound, movement and breath as both a soul expression and a healing modality has been cultivated through lifelong careers in music, body awareness and transformation. Partnered in practice with her horse, Ash, Kirsten is inspired by nature, multiculturalism, and inclusion, as she holds space for the release of trauma and the emergence of authenticity in all beings.

Patty Nagle is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), certified Grof® Breathwork facilitator, and licensed massage therapist who’s spent the past decade immersed in the world of expanded states of consciousness. Patty brings a unique mix of skills to her work—therapy, bodywork, group facilitation, and event production and logistics, which keeps events running smoothly. She’s especially drawn to the deep, often wordless healing that can happen through the body, and she brings that sensitivity into the “bodywork” aspect of breathwork. Whether working one-on-one or supporting a large group, Patty brings steadiness, humor, and a deep trust in the process.
